We take care not to overcrowd our pastures so each horse has grazing in the summer months and plenty of room to roam. We feel the horses are happier when kept in a more natural environment. Over 500 acres of private land for trail riding available right from the farm!
All boarding arrangements include tack storage, your supplements fed, your blanket, sheet and fly mask put on and taken off. Will also fly spray your horse if you provide spray. Each horse is checked over daily. Minor cuts and scrapes are treated at no charge. All horses come into the barn for individualized feeding of their grain. Vaccination/farrier/deworming/health records are provided and maintained by the farm and available at all times. All the work is done for you and if your horse leaves, you take the records with you. I provide a vitamin E and Selenium supplement, wheat bran and probiotic (in winter) upon request at cost. All horses are taken care of in the best way possible. As a former boarder, I strive to provide all the services I want for my own horses. I don't nickle and dime my boarders for every little service. Boarder's input is encouraged and appreciated.
We use Dr. Kenneth Main, DVM for our veterinarian and Andy Cole for our farrier but you are welcome to use whomever you prefer for these services. There is no charge to hold for vet or farrier.
We feed Tribute Kalm Ultra for our premium grain. It is 12% fat, 12% protein with omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. It is a wonderful feed for all classes of horses. For more information on this feed visit: Tribute Kalm Ultra
